7:00 pm – Board of Directors met prior to the general membership meeting. These are the list of issues that were discussed:

Introduction of Officers: Mike Cumberland- President, John Hiser- treasurer, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Secretary, Tom Horstman- Trap, Mike Ripley- Black Powder/Junior Rifle.

Treasurer’s Report: John read the report.

Bills and Communications: Paid normal monthly bills.

Pop: Nothing to report.

Rental Committee Report: January 18, 19, 20 boy scout troop 33 will be using the hall.

Pistol Team: Pistol team took in $125, no expenses, kept $37, turned in $88. The pistol team shoots on Thursdays, indoor starting at 5 PM. 22 cal. & Centerfire 32, 38, & 45 cal. All welcome to come practice.

Trap Team: Tom had nothing to report this month. Winter trap league is from noon-5pm on Sundays. Anyone is welcome to join. Anyone can still come shoot practice during the winter league from noon-5pm. $3.50 per 25 targets. Open to the general public, club members, and new shooters.

Black Powder: Mike took in $160, expenses of $110, kept $15, turned in $35. Mike said there will be the annual primitive deer hunt starting the day after Christmas. Anyone interested is to meet at the cabin. 2nd Sunday of each month 11:00 am are the meat shoots (Black powder, closest to bullseye).

Junior Rifle Team: Junior rifle has resumed. Shooting will be on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6:30-8pm and only cost $2. Contact Mike Ripley with any questions or interest.

Archery: Adam Boyd mentioned looking into getting an archery course set up again.

Fun Indoor Shoot: Dickie said they only shot twice this month. Dickie turned in $70. They normally shoot every Monday 10am-till shooting is done, doors open at 9 am. Everyone is welcome. Iron/Peep sights with .22 caliber rifles from a rested position. Closest to bullseye wins a prize.

Membership: Brian read new memberships and turned in $2,195 of which $260 goes to the maintenance fund and $1,935 to the general fund. $50 was turned in for key cards. He reported 106 new members for 2018 which brings a total of 454 Sr, Life and Charter members. Total membership is ?.

Old Business: The old wooden pistol tables are gone. John H. made a motion to change the cardkey waiting period from a 1yr waiting period to a 3 month waiting period in the by-laws. Tom F. 2nd the motion. The membership in attendance voted and agreed to make the change with an 18-1 vote in favor of the change.

New Business: Since there were no new nominations in the November meeting for the BOD, Dickie made a motion to not change any positions in the BOD. Dawson 2nd the motion. The membership in attendance voted and agreed to the motion.

Good of the Association: Rich Hoover was presented with a lifetime membership and a check for $150 as thanks for all his donated time and hard work that he puts in at the club.
